Andy Haffenden - Founding Partner

Andy has been involved in the luxury sector for over a decade and has experience in management, sales, refit and charter. During past years he has been managing some exceedingly successful charter yachts in the Mediterranean, which have enjoyed growth year on year with many charters booked during the summer season. Andy also holds commercially endorsed yachting qualifications, is a qualified MCA DPA and enjoys time on the sea when possible.

Prior to his business career and yachting, Andy gained a Management degree and then spent years as an entrepreneur successfully creating and selling technology companies. Together with being a helicopter pilot, Andy also enjoys playing the guitar, skydiving, cycling, snow sports and developing new concepts and business ideas.

Andy is a proud supporter and member of the executive board on the Kareem Jackson Foundation.

With considerable years’ experience in the luxury yachting industry, Sara specialises in retail yacht charters worldwide and providing the ultimate service for all her clients. She gained invaluable experience as a chief stewardess in some of the most prestigious charter programs in the world. She has traveled to almost every destination that yachts can cruise and understands the inner workings of yacht charter and the art of luxury concierge intimately. She takes pride in helping clients create lasting memories and providing a service above and beyond what is expected.

Before yachting, Sara grew up as an international competitive gymnast and graduated from the University of Mississippi with a degree in Sports Medicine. Sara is addicted to traveling and loves to scuba dive, hike, water ski, family snow ski adventures in the mountains and to make people smile.

Together with hand selected partners and providers, Sara and Andy’s experience, knowledge and advice is invaluable to those wishing to enjoy luxury yacht charter and create long lasting memories. They both thoroughly enjoy talking and advising on the opportunities that luxury yacht charter has to bring. Charter Support

Sarah gained considerable experience in the Media industry from co-ordinating filming shoots for various documentary programmes and all other aspects of production, ensuring travel, accommodation, and hospitality was provided efficiently for both the crew and the talent involved.

She then went on to work for a digital agency producing digital campaigns for Disney International and managed the distribution of various online advertising campaigns for the latest Disney films to 22 different countries around the world.

In 2010, Sarah decided to have a change of career and transferred her co-ordinating and management skills into the education sector and trained to become a primary school teacher. Her passion and drive to deliver a fun and engaging education to the children led her to become an outstanding teacher and most recently, following the birth of her daughter, she has moved to tutoring children online which has enabled her to combine this with assisting Aquazeal in a Charter Support role.

Back Office, Aviation and Meteorology

With over 40 years of involvement in all aspects of the aviation world, as an Airport Director, Air Traffic Control Officer, Private Pilot and Recognised Meteorological Observer John brings valuable knowledge and wisdom to Aquazeal and their operations.
